Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: Bihar Police Sends A 4 Member Team To Mumbai To Investigate SSR’s Death Case After Family Raises Concern
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death got the entire nation once again discussing the existence of nepotism in Bollywood as well as the importance of mental health. While the actor according to several reports in the media was suffering from clinical depression, the family, on the other hand, is unhappy with this narrative being set regarding the actor. As per reports in a news agency, PTI, the actor’s family had approached Bihar Police regarding the same, which is the late actor’s hometown. This has led to the state sending a 4 member team to Mumbai to investigate the death case.

It is also stated that the family is also not ignoring the possibility of conspiracy in the actor’s death. However, so far it is unclear whether the family has lodged a formal complaint or filed an FIR about the same. The actor died due to suicide on June 14, 2020, at his Bandra residence, at the age of 34 and was allegedly undergoing treatment for the clinical depression, stated by various reports in the media. Lately, Delhi BJP MP Manoj Tiwari who visited the late actor’s family in Bihar had requested Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to deliver justice in the actor’s death case.

In his conversation with the news agency, Tiwari had also mentioned about no FIR being filed regarding the actor’s untimely death. “To my surprise, even 43 days after Sushant's death, no FIR is registered in Mumbai. So the case cannot be transferred to the CBI. Mumbai Police should register an FIR immediately so that proper and impartial investigation could take place, he added. In its ongoing investigation in the case, Mumbai Police have recorded statements of nearly 40 people,” said Manoj Tiwari.
